As well as our cottage on the Yorkshire Coast, we also own a country retreat in the beautiful village of Kettlewell, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

Surrounded by the beautiful limestone scenery of Upper Wharfedale, this picturesque, traditional cosy cottage, sleeping up to 4 people, has been sensitively refurbished by local craftsmen to provide convenient, flexible and luxury self catering accommodation in a peaceful and private rural setting.

Located on the Dales Way, seven miles north of the bustling, vibrant village of Grassington and and just half an hour the market towns of Skipton and Hawes, Kettewell's riverside setting, nestled between two fells, provides the provides the perfect base for exploring the many delights of the Yorkshire Dales.

After a busy day enjoying the honey pot attractions of the local area, return to the peace and quiet of the upper dale and enjoy the seclusion of the relaxing garden, with it's "Weber" BBQ for alfresco dining in the warmer months, or snuggle up by the wood burning stove in the living room during the winter

The village is blessed with three pubs, the Blue Bell Inn, The Kings Head and the Racehorses Hotel, all within a few minutes walk away, all provinding local real ales and excellent bar meals. There is also a wonderful Deli, a tea room, a village store and a garage. We offer a pet friendly cottage.

Our prices for direct bookings start from £400 per week (7 nights), which are generally based on arriving Friday and departing Friday with the exception of Christmas and New Year. The second bedroom, also with double mirrored wardrobe, chest and bedside tables can be made up with a king sized or twin beds.

The modern bathroom include bath with rainfall shower over, toilet, basin and mirrored cabinet, along with bathrobe hooks on the door.

The small rear garden provides a great place to enjoy al fresco dining, a few drinks in the evening sun or a tranquil setting for perusing the Sunday papers.

Here you will find a picnic bench, with seating for four, a charcoal BBQ and log store.

The garden is fully enclosed for added privacy and to provide extra security for young ones and pets.
